The felting needles are marked with a color so you can easily see which needle is which.

The Twisted needle is twisted, the felting is efficient and it "screws" in, there are smaller holes/grooves. The notches are spread over a longer distance than the star.

The Crown needle (also called a crown needle) is a specialized felting needle that is used primarily for detail work, surface finishing and finer needle felting. It is characterized by the barbs (notches) being placed very close to the tip of the needle.

The Cross Star needle has barbs on four sides and felts faster.

The Fork needle does not have any barbs, but the tip is shaped like a fork. Used, for example, to attach hair to dolls or whiskers to animals.
